The gîte

This original and comfortable house is dedicated to well-being, its big terrace will give you the impression to live in the trees.

All year long you will be able to enjoy nature, gardens, waterfalls nearby, hiking, biking, donkey rides as well as the Ganges Theater, the movies, the local museums, the river in the summertime, the classical music festival, the street art festival, the food fairs, the village festivals, the exhibits…

Our furry friends, dogs and cats are not admitted, but we allow kangaroos.

PRICES :

425 € one week.
475 € a week in July and August.
190 € the week-end (2 nights) and 75 € for an extra night.

Wood heating is extra: daily or weekly rate.

Tourist tax: 1€ a day.

The fee for the garden is paid only once for your whole stay.

The two Guest Rooms

For a week-end get-away.
Spacious and colorful, both guest rooms have a private garden to relax in and enjoy the bird’s songs.
Marie Lou’s welcome cocktail: nature, originality, spices, cooking, comfort, natural products, ecology, conviviality.

One of the guest’s rooms stays open all year long.

Our furry friends, dogs and cats are not admitted but we allow kangaroos.

The organic "Table d'hôtes"

Festive cooking with love:
The day of your arrival you will be offered an aperitif. The breakfasts and dinners are prepared with seasonal ingredients.
Marie Lou lovingly cooks the organic fruits and vegetables of her garden to offer you creative and inventive meals!
The aromatic plants as well as the little red berries can also be found in her syrups and homemade jams.

In the Spotlight:

Vegetarian lasagnas, homemade bread, the 20 ingredients sauce, pelar-dons, garden vegetables, delicious chocolate cake, rice flour, secret ingre-dients, trouts “en papillotes”, gratins, tarts, vegan mousses , rose petals, edibles flowers, aperitifs maison, organic wines, organic beer from the Aveyron.

Infos

Eco-home: Because we live in the Cevennes National Park it made sense to us to join the Cevennes Ecotourism Association, we are signatories of the European Charter of sustainable Tourism in protected areas.
Activities on site: Waste sorting, composting, use of green cleaning products.
Just like in the garden, good environmental practices are the norm every day in the accommodations, which are equipped with solar panels.

For their landscapes shaped by men, their architectural heritage, and their pastoral know-how, the Causses and the Cevennes were officially declared UNESCO world heritage sites.
A short drive from the cirque de Navacelles, you can meet our friends of Causse and Lamas on the causse of Blandas where you will be in the mist of donkeys, lamas, Mongolian yurts and tipis.

Closer to the Mont Aigoual, winding little roads will take you to picturesque villages;
Mandagout, Notre Dame de la Rouvière, St Martial, Valleraugue…
A little further away; Sauve, St Guilhem du Désert…

For your gastronomic pleasure: the country markets offer a great choice of delicious goods: Sweet onions of the Cevennes, Chestnuts, reinette apples, pelardons goat cheese, honey, etc., as well as an abundance of organic produce.
You will find a small organic shop in Le Vigan; an organic coop right next to Ganges, and:
Beatrice’s boutique in Valleraugue.
Beatrice offers seasonal baskets from her garden and from local producers, a great choice of regional produce.
