You are now in the Cevennes National Park; discover the area at various seasons; take time to reconnect with nature, enjoy a long stay at the “Jardin des Sambucs”, discover the valley and its inhabitants, offer yourself some peaceful time in the “gîte” or one of the two guest rooms of Mlou’s house.

The gîte

This original and comfortable house is dedicated to well-being, its big terrace will give you the impression to live in the trees.

All year long you will be able to enjoy nature, gardens, waterfalls nearby, hiking, biking, donkey rides as well as the Ganges Theater, the movies, the local museums, the river in the summertime, the classical music festival, the street art festival, the food fairs, the village festivals, the exhibits…

The gîte can welcome 4 persons.

Our furry friends, dogs and cats are not admitted, but we allow kangaroos.

PRICES :

460 € one week.
500 € a week in July and August.
Please ask if any other duration of the stay wanted

Wood heating is extra: daily or weekly rate.

Tourist tax: 1,50€ a day.

The fee for the garden is paid only once for your whole stay.

The two Guest Rooms

For a week-end get-away.
Spacious and colorful, both guest rooms have a private garden to relax in and enjoy the bird’s songs.
Marie Lou’s welcome cocktail: nature, originality, spices, cooking, comfort, natural products, ecology, conviviality.

One room for 2 persons, one other room for 3 persons

Wi-Fi.

Non-smoking rooms, smoking corner outdoors.

Our furry friends, dogs and cats are not admitted but we allow kangaroos.

On arrival, the rooms are available at 4:00pm; for any other time, please contact us.

The bed and breakfast price includes the night and breakfast.

70 €: 1 person.
85 €: 2 people.
100 €: 3 people.
Tourist tax: 1€ per day.

The garden’s entrance fee is only paid once for your whole stay.

Infos

Activities on site: Waste sorting, composting, use of green cleaning products.
Just like in the garden, good environmental practices are the norm every day in the accommodations, which are equipped with solar panels.

For their landscapes shaped by men, their architectural heritage, and their pastoral know-how, the Causses and the Cevennes were officially declared UNESCO world heritage sites.

Closer to the Mont Aigoual, winding little roads will take you to picturesque villages;
Mandagout, Notre Dame de la Rouvière, St Martial, Valleraugue…
A little further away; Sauve, St Guilhem du Désert…

For your gastronomic pleasure: the country markets offer a great choice of delicious goods: Sweet onions of the Cevennes, Chestnuts, reinette apples, pelardons goat cheese, honey, etc., as well as an abundance of organic produce.
You will find a small organic shop in Le Vigan; an organic coop right next to Ganges, and:
